Tímea Junghaus Joins the Board of the Snétberger Music Talent Foundation
The European Roma Cultural Foundation (ERCF) welcomes the appointment of Tímea Junghaus to the Board of the Snétberger Music Talent Foundation.
Founded by internationally acclaimed guitarist Ferenc Snétberger, the Foundation has become one of Europe's leading institutions supporting the education and artistic development of talented young Roma musicians. Through its educational programmes, mentorship and international outlook, it has played a significant role in expanding opportunities for new generations of artists while promoting artistic excellence, cultural participation and educational opportunity.
Tímea Junghaus brings to the Foundation extensive experience as a curator, art historian and cultural leader whose work has contributed to expanding the visibility of artists working from Roma experiences and perspectives within contemporary art and international cultural institutions. Her research and curatorial practice explores questions of cultural representation, institutional transformation and transnational collaboration across Europe.
Her appointment reflects the importance of connecting different fields of artistic practice, education and cultural leadership. It also highlights the growing role of interdisciplinary collaboration in strengthening Europe's cultural landscape while creating new opportunities for future generations of artists and cultural professionals.
