Data storage and retention
Your data is stored on servers within the European Economic Area (EEA). We use Squarespace (US-based, EU–US Data Privacy Framework certified) for website hosting, and Brevo/Stripe for newsletter and donation processing respectively.
We retain contact data for 2 years from last interaction, newsletter data until you unsubscribe, and donation records for 8 years (Hungarian accounting law obligation).
Your rights under GDPR
You have the right to:

Restrict or object to processing
Data portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format
Withdraw consent at any time (e.g. unsubscribe from newsletter)
To exercise any of these rights, email contact@romacult.eu. We will respond within one month. In cases of complexity or multiple simultaneous requests, this may be extended by a further two months — you will be informed of any delay within the first month.
