The European Roma Cultural Foundation (ERCF) is a Hungarian non-profit foundation dedicated to Roma cultural inclusion, socially engaged art, and the advancement of humane and unbiased technology. Our website is romacult.eu.

How we use your data

We use your data to:

• Respond to your enquiries

• Send you our newsletter (only with your explicit consent)

Data storage and retention

Your data is stored on servers within the European Economic Area (EEA). We use Squarespace (US-based, EU–US Data Privacy Framework certified) for website hosting, and Brevo/Stripe for newsletter and donation processing respectively.

We retain contact data for 2 years from last interaction, newsletter data until you unsubscribe, and donation records for 8 years (Hungarian accounting law obligation).

Your rights under GDPR

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you

• Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data

• Erase your data ("right to be forgotten")

• Restrict or object to processing

• Data portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format

• Withdraw consent at any time (e.g. unsubscribe from newsletter)

To exercise any of these rights, email contact@romacult.eu. We will respond within one month. In cases of complexity or multiple simultaneous requests, this may be extended by a further two months — you will be informed of any delay within the first month.
